Why the Product is Different?

Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. is a unique non profit organization for several reasons. First, Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. utilizes existing infrastructures and manpower within the educational environment. It can be duplicated in any community, city, state, or nation where there are children, educators, financial resources and support to accomplish the mission and vision of Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. and it will provide substantial evidence that Service-Learning should be combined with national, state and district performance objectives and expectations.

Then, It will provide an opportunity to bring children together from a variety of backgrounds and encourage unity, tolerance and acceptance of others values, beliefs, and traditions, provide any child who wants to contribute and give back to the community with a safe place to engage in civic service activities that promote responsibility, reflection, respect and compassion towards others, and change communities, cities, states, nations and the world one chapter at a time. Next, it will be the best way to provide children throughout the community, city, state, nation and the world with the experiences and benefits of Service-Learning and strengthen bonds between the states, businesses, universities, and non profit organizations within the community, the nation and the world.

In addition, research indicates that educators involved in Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C will have a strong desire to implement Service-Learning activities into their classrooms. The Service-Learning environment will create more discussion with regards to creative teaching techniques and the reflective process and educators will become more collaborative and involved in curriculum, instruction, and planning. Next, they will engage in authentic professional development and research, utilize their skills set to tinker will and create the most productive Service-Learning environment for their students, and lead, instruct, guide, help and teach children all about Service-Learning. Then, a community supporting Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. will eventually use less of their resources for incarceration, and programs that prevent children from becoming drop outs, engaging in unprotected sex, becoming teenage parents and/or getting involved in violent behavior and criminal activity. The community will be more proactive, constructive, innovative and productive, and observe more of its children graduating from high school and achieving greater educational attainment.

Furthermore, Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. Board will be responsible for the Recruiting, Instructing, Supervising, and Evaluating the educators who will lead a Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. chapter. They will create a Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. Policies and Procedures Manual outlining all policies and procedures for members and their activities in and out of school, conduct workshops and dispersing the latest research and handbooks on Service-Learning to the educators who will lead a Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. chapter, meet with community city councils, school boards, and local business, government, and non profit leaders to understand the communities needs and receive the community’s blessing and support. Finally, Heaven’s M.A.G.I.C. will build a forum of local experts, educators, leaders, and business professionals to discuss the strengths and weakness of the program, its progress within the community and what needs to be done in order to improve it for the future.
